The second annual Riyadh International Urban Development and Real Estate Investment Summit 2011 provided a vital meeting point for the local, regional and international real estate community. Held under the patronage of H.R.H Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, Special Adviser to Emir of Riyadh and under the theme of Capitalising on the Largest Real Estate Market in the GCC, the Summit addressed Riyadh’s long-term potential for economic growth and real estate development. Over three days of presentations, panels discussions, debates and workshops, the event provided delegates with the newest investment strategies, business contacts and information to prosper in this booming market.
Highlights included an inaugural keynote speech featuring Dr. Fahad Al Sultan, Secretary General, Council of Saudi Chambers; an opening keynote by Eng. Ahmed M. Assubail, Director General of Strategic Urban Planning Department, Arriadh Development Authority; a revealing discussion on the long-anticipated Saudi mortgage law and an exciting closing debate between Dr. Abdulwahab S. Abu-Dahesh of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Abdulrahman Bin Molla Al-Lowaihiq, Chairman of the Sharia Advisory Board at Abdulla Bin Mohamed Bin Saedan Real Estate Company.
