The World Architecture Congress Saudi Arabia
The launch of the globally renowned World Architecture Congress in Saudi Arabia, alongside Cityscape Riyadh, was a resounding success, bringing together architects and designers from across the region to discuss challenging issues of architectural identity, energy-efficiency, sustainability and affordable housing design.
Supported by the American Institute of Architects and the Royal Institute of British Architects, the congress revolved around the creation of contemporary Arabia through a series of presentations, panel discussions and focus sessions with leading architects and developers. Participating firms included Buro Happold, FX Fowle, BDP, Bond Bryan Architects, Mawten Real Estate Company, Zahran Holding, CH2M Hill, Perkins Eastman and Hening Larsen Architects.
The second World Architecture Congress Saudi Arabia will once again be held alongside Cityscape Riyadh taking place 9 - 11 December 2012. If you’d like to register your interest in sponsoring, speaking or attending please contact us on register@cityscape.org or call +971 (0) 4 407 2528.
